Yooan Kim

Ph.D. Candidate

School of Agriculture and Life Sciences, Seoul National University

About

I have been pursuing a unique academic path, with majors in Economics, International Relations, Green Ecosystem Engineering, and Agricultural and Forest Meteorology.  My passion lies in sustainable engineering, and my research centers around keywords such as Environmental Impact Assessment, Life-cycle Assessment, System Dynamics Model, and Resource Management.

Throughout my career, I've had the great fortune to work on some truly inspiring projects, while meeting many influential and creative individuals along the way. I firmly believe in the power of collaboration, working together to create a whole that is greater than the sum of its parts.

Currently, I am involved in a study on resource efficiency for a net zero or carbon neutral society. This research focuses on constructing databases and resource models. As we strive to develop sustainable solutions for our future, I am excited to be at the forefront of systems analysis and carbon accounting for net zero.
